Ninh Thuan, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh connect to develop tourism

NDO - On the afternoon of November 23, in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city ( Ninh Thuan ), a seminar was held to promote, advertise and sign tourism agreements between Ninh Thuan Tourism Associations with Dong Nai and Tay Ninh. 80 tourism businesses from the three provinces participated, aiming to connect and design cooperation programs based on the specific strengths of each party to develop tourism in the coming years.

At the workshop, delegates, travel agencies, tourism services and accommodation businesses heard about the typical tourism products of each locality, and at the same time, focused on discussing solutions to build a close cooperation and linkage mechanism... towards promoting tourism between the three localities to bring about the desired results.

According to Chairman of Ninh Thuan Province Tourism Association Nguyen Anh Vu, Ninh Thuan has made tourism a key economic sector of the province, so linking tourism development together will contribute to promoting the image of tourism, scenic spots and unique tourism products of each locality to spread more widely, creating a chain of tourism products with high appeal compared to other provinces and cities in the region and the whole country.

Ninh Thuan owns many famous scenic spots, such as: Binh Son - Ninh Chu Beach, Ca Na, Binh Tien, Hang Rai; has two national parks including Phuoc Binh and Nui Chua, in which Nui Chua National Park is recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, suitable for developing types of ecotourism and adventure sports.

In the 10 months of 2024, Ninh Thuan welcomed more than 3.27 million visitors, exceeding the plan by 2.5%; it is estimated that the whole year will attract 3.4 million visitors, with revenue from accommodation and food services estimated at VND 3,890 billion.

Chairman of the Dong Nai Province Tourism Association, Tran Dang Ninh, said that Dong Nai is located in the southern key economic region of the country, not only developing industry but also has the strength to develop many types of eco-tourism, cultural-historical tourism, spiritual tourism, sports tourism, exploration, adventure... Dong Nai is implementing a number of key projects, so the province has many advantages in attracting tourists when cooperating between localities.

At the workshop, the Tourism Associations of the three provinces signed a cooperation agreement focusing on four main contents, including: Exchanging information on tourism development; focusing on promoting tourism between localities; building tourism products; supporting members of the Tourism Association and business organizations to promote common tourism development in the coming time.
