Currently, local authorities and functional forces and organizations are mobilizing maximum human resources and means to help people overcome the consequences.

Lieutenant Colonel Doan Duc Long, Chief of Lach Ken Border Guard Station (under the Border Guard Command of Ha Tinh province) said that the Border Guard Command of Ha Tinh province has mobilized and reinforced hundreds of officers and soldiers, divided into many teams, to support many communes across the province.

In particular, in the area of 3 communes Co Dam, Dan Hai, Tien Dien, including 130 officers and soldiers (100 officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command and 30 officers and soldiers of Lach Ken Border Guard Station) were mobilized to the heavily damaged areas to quickly support people to overcome the consequences.

As soon as they arrived at the locality, the officers and soldiers started to carry out tasks such as pruning, securing, cleaning up fallen trees, clearing traffic jams, cleaning the environment in residential areas, supporting households, especially policy families and single-parent families to clean up and repair their houses, arrange assets, belongings, and auxiliary works to soon stabilize their lives; at the same time, helping people transport and move tons of wet rice bags to minimize damage...

In particular, focus on supporting cleaning at schools in the area to ensure facilities for students preparing for the new school year.

Storm No. 5 made landfall in Ha Tinh from the afternoon to the night of August 25, causing serious damage over a wide area, severely affecting the power grid system. A series of medium and low voltage lines and transformer stations were damaged, and fallen trees blocked the power grid, causing power outages in many localities.

Many electric poles fell down in Co Dam commune, Ha Tinh province.

The electricity sector has directed all units to be on standby with 100% of their forces with the motto "4 on-site", urgently inspecting, handling incidents and gradually restoring power supply to customers. In the face of great damage caused by the storm, the Northern Power Corporation and the Central Power Corporation have also mobilized hundreds of officers and workers from the following Power Companies: Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , Thai Nguyen, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Hue... along with vehicles, materials and equipment to support Ha Tinh in overcoming incidents and restoring power supply to people.

The electricity industry is focusing on troubleshooting to quickly supply electricity to people after the storm in Ha Tinh.

Mr. Le Trong Phuoc Son, Deputy Head of Safety Department of Hue Electricity Company, Captain of the Ha Tinh Support Shock Team, said that as soon as they arrived in Ha Tinh, 50 members of the Shock Team of Hue Electricity Company were assigned to support the Cam Xuyen Electricity Management Team, under Ha Tinh Electricity Company, to approach the scene, quickly grasp the work content to promptly fix the problem, strive to restore safe and stable power supply to customers, contributing to stabilizing the lives and activities of local people after the storm.
