NTO - Opening of the South Central Region Industry and Trade Fair

On June 13, at April 16 Square, the local Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Thuan to organize the opening ceremony of the Industry and Trade Fair of the South Central region - Ninh Thuan in 2023. Attending were comrades: Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of the leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province and provinces and cities in the South Central region.

In his opening speech, comrade Phan Tan Canh highly appreciated the organization of the 2023 South Central Region - Ninh Thuan Industry and Trade Fair; at the same time, he said that this is an activity in a series of events including the Ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate inscribing "Cham pottery art on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding" and the Ninh Thuan Grape - Wine Festival in 2023.

Thereby, to promote and introduce the image, potential for socio -economic development, trade, services, cultural tourism of Ninh Thuan to other provinces in and outside the country. At the same time, it is a bridge for businesses and trade promotion organizations to expand exchanges, cooperation, association, experience exchange, technological innovation to improve product quality, develop markets in the trend of international economic integration.

The fair scale includes 300 booths of more than 150 participating units and businesses displaying products in many fields such as: Garment, fashion , industrial machinery and equipment, wooden furniture, consumer goods, electronics and household appliances... and many other activities, aiming to create conditions for businesses, production and trading establishments to promote, find suitable partners, and expand the consumer market.

At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates and medals to 18 products that achieved the title of outstanding rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2023. The fair will run until June 18, 2023.
