At the conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work. Accordingly, on September 12, the Politburo issued a decision to transfer, assign and appoint comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and at the same time introduce him to be elected as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term; to cease participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and to cease holding the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee also announced the Politburo's decision to transfer and appoint Major General Nguyen Hong Phong, Director of the Department of Internal Security - Ministry of Public Security , to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa province for the 2020-2025 term; to cease participating in the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the ceremony, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized: Comrades Nguyen Hoai Anh and Nguyen Hong Phong are assessed as young, capable and experienced cadres in Party building, state management in the fields of political security, social order and safety, with scientific , decisive and profound thinking and working methods. In their positions, the two comrades are assessed to have always fulfilled their assigned tasks well. The fact that comrades Nguyen Hoai Anh and Nguyen Hong Phong were assigned new responsibilities by the Politburo and the Secretariat demonstrates the Secretariat's trust and recognition of the two comrades.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung believes that the two comrades will successfully complete the assigned tasks in the context of new work and tasks with many challenges and high requirements. Major General Nguyen Hong Phong, born in 1979, worked at the Ministry of Public Security and held the position of Deputy Director of the Internal Security Department; was assigned to be Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police and Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police. In January 2025, he was assigned to hold the position of Director of the Internal Security Department - Ministry of Public Security.
