TPO – “It only rained one night and the whole vegetable area was submerged in water. It happened so quickly that people couldn’t react or salvage it in time,” said Mr. Tran Ngoc Dung (Hoa Tho Dong ward, Cam Le district, Da Nang ).

The La Huong vegetable growing area along the Cam Le River is now surrounded by water after a heavy rain that lasted from the night of August 1st until noon today (September 18th). The entrance to the La Huong safe vegetable growing area is deeply flooded. Around the area, only a few types of vegetables grown on high beds remain.
