Mr. Nguyen Cong Dang: Due to the impact of storm No. 3 and the flood discharge of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant, many places in Tuyen Quang City are deeply flooded, the water cannot be drained. This leads to the interruption of power supply to households. Currently, the city has cut off power to 300/364 transformer stations, cut off power to 19/23 medium voltage lines with a total of nearly 60,000 customers affected. To ensure safe power supply for people, Tuyen Quang City Electricity has reviewed and inspected the power system throughout the flooded areas, at the same time, supporting people in flooded areas in their daily life and travel.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Dang: With the motto of ensuring safety and daily life for people, the electricity industry has increased on-duty and inspection work, providing electricity to people with safe conditions.

Currently, Tuyen Quang City Electricity has focused on mobilizing all human resources and materials, closely following the area with the support of local authorities, following the principle of withdrawing water, checking to ensure safety before supplying electricity. For transformer stations submerged in water, the water must be completely withdrawn to ensure safety before supplying electricity.

At the same time, regularly monitor and grasp information on water level to have a timely response scenario according to the 4-on-the-spot principle, promptly respond and provide relief when natural disasters occur. Along with that, prepare wiring methods to optimize the power supply to the loads. Have a standby plan, ensure spare materials, logistics, and protect assets at the units.
