Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,400 - 6,500 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,400 - 6,500 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,500 - 5,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,000 - 5,200 VND/kg; Nhat rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is at 9,200 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the supply is better, buying and selling transactions are steady. In Hau Giang , farmers offer a lot of rice for sale, demand is quite high, transactions are slow. In An Giang, the rice harvest is abundant, demand is higher, prices continue to increase compared to yesterday.

In Can Tho, the quantity is still small, most of the areas have been staked by traders. In Kien Giang , the rice source is still quite good, the demand is high, farmers offer prices up 50-100 VND/kg for all types, transactions are quite good.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 5,550 to 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of fragrant broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 to 7,300 VND/kg; broken rice 3-4 increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,600 - 6,700/kg; the price of dry bran fluctuates at 5,550 - 5,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, small quantity, stable price of white raw rice, other types of prices fluctuate little. The market has little source of good IR50404 and OM380 rice, slow transaction.

In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is small, the price is stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the price of all types of rice is stable. In Sa Dec market (Dong Thap), rice is coming in slowly, the market warehouse buys regularly, the price of all types is stable. In An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), rice is coming in slowly, the price is increasing slightly, the demand is slow.

At retail markets, prices of rice of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND15,000-16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000-22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND18,000-20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000/kg; common white rice 17,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 21,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 389 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 364 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 307 USD/ton.
