Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong holds the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee

VTV.vn - The Politburo assigned Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's Decision on transferring, assigning and appointing Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong to hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

This afternoon (September 30), Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's important decision on personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, former member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lao Cai province, was mobilized, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and at the same time participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 1.

Attending the Conference were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung, along with leaders of the Central Committee, Military Region 1 and Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Lao Cai and Thai Nguyen provinces.

The decision to mobilize and assign cadres this time was made to implement the personnel work direction of the 14th Party Congress and the Politburo's Conclusion on the policy of arranging Provincial and Municipal Party Committee Secretaries who are not local people. This is a proactive step to build a team of leaders to meet the requirements in the new situation.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung delivered a speech assigning tasks at the Conference.

Along with transferring comrade Trinh Xuan Truong to Thai Nguyen, the Politburo also decided that Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, former Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, would transfer to hold the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and join the Party Committee of Military Region 2.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong is assessed by the Politburo as a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots, having worked in many positions in many different units of Lao Cai province. Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong is recognized as a capable person with a scientific and democratic working method, close to the grassroots and has made important contributions to the overall achievements of the agencies and localities where he has worked.

Speaking at the Conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized the Politburo's trust in the experience, capacity and strengths of comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, which will help him successfully complete the assigned tasks in Thai Nguyen.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity and sharing so that the new Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong can focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of the political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee, especially the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

The immediate key task is to urgently implement the Action Program to fully update the new policies of the Central Committee, promptly put the Resolution of the Congress into practice, take advantage of the opportunity to successfully implement the 2-level local government model, and be determined to build Thai Nguyen into a modern industrial center, a dynamic growth pole of the Northern midland and mountainous region.

Receiving the new assignment, the new Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong expressed his honor and determined that this is a very important responsibility before the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party Committee, the government and the people of Thai Nguyen province.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong seriously accepted the direction and pledged to join the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the entire political system in seizing opportunities, promoting collective intelligence, courage, creativity, and striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges. The highest goal is to successfully implement the Congress Resolution, realizing the goal of building Thai Nguyen province into a modern industrial center with high average income before 2030.

The new Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee also called on all cadres, party members, business community and people in the province to continue to unite, uphold tradition to build a clean and strong provincial Party Committee, contributing to the prosperous development and common prosperity of the country.
