According to flood warning bulletin on Ma River No. DBLU-38/15h30/THOA dated August 26, 2025 of the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, at 5:00 p.m. on August 26, the water level on Ma River at Giang hydrological station was +6.01m (0.49m below alarm level III).

It is forecasted that the downstream water level on the Ma River at Giang hydrological station is likely to reach alarm level III (+6.5m) at 8-10pm on August 26.

The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued a third alert on the Ma River at Giang hydrological station, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the communes and wards: Dong Tien, Ham Rong, Hac Thanh, Quang Phu, Nguyet Vien, Sam Son, Hoang Giang, Hoang Loc, Hoang Chau, Hoang Thanh to continue to deploy dike patrols and dike protection according to the alert level. Organize inspections, reviews and be ready to deploy plans to ensure the safety of dike works; especially key dike points and culverts across the dike in the area. Proactively deploy plans to evacuate people living in the riverbank area.

At the same time, organize a serious 24/24 duty, closely monitor the development of rain and floods to be ready to handle situations from the first hour. Inform and report promptly to the Provincial Office of Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Command and the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command.
