Here, Mr. David Wang, Executive Director of the Board and President of the ICT Infrastructure Executive Board of Huawei said: “5.5G is the main pillar of the mobile AI era. Therefore, we hope to continue to cooperate with industry partners to seize the huge opportunities from the mobile AI era, shaping an intelligent world ,” Mr. David Wang shared.

According to Mr. David Wang, the world is witnessing the explosive development of AI (artificial intelligence), the milestone of officially commercializing 5.5G in 2024 will bring many new opportunities in the mobile field. Huawei has researched and innovated 4 core technologies to develop a green and seamless 5.5G network, providing continuous and uninterrupted services.

High-quality 5G networks are the foundation for 5.5G network deployment, so enhancing 5G networks in residential areas, high-speed railways, urban and rural areas can support multi-function setups for 5.5G networks. In addition, end-to-end intelligent operation processes enable operators to gain comprehensive and in-depth information about network failures, self-heal faults, maximize network efficiency, and improve user experience.

At the conference, Huawei also announced its vision for evolving industry technologies from 5G to 5.5G - aiming for greener, more connected, and more experience-driven mobile networks through long-term innovation in Extremely Large Antenna Array (ELAA) technology, mobile services that deliver differentiated experiences, green solutions for all time-based scenarios, and AI-empowered networks.
