On September 30, the Center for Monuments Conservation announced that from October 4 to October 7, the unit will open the Imperial Citadel heritage site at night to welcome visitors to experience the activities of the Hue Royal Palace Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 program.
Accordingly, the program's activities will be held at the Interior Ministry and will be free for people and tourists to visit and experience.
Visitors can enter the event space through Hoa Binh gate (by car) or Hien Nhon gate (by motorbike or on foot).
The Hue Royal Palace Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 will have many activities, such as: lantern display, lantern procession, lion dance and traditional games.
Lantern display and installation space at the Interior Palace from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm on October 6 and 7. Here, visitors will be able to admire typical Hue lanterns, Bao La bamboo and rattan lanterns, CAN Studio folding lanterns, and traditional lanterns from Gifu province (Japan).
Along with that, royal games are organized such as: card games, card games, tattooing, and calligraphy to create an experiential space for people and tourists.
In the backyard of the Interior Palace, there will also be a program called "Royal Palace Full Moon Night" with special traditional art performances.
Also within the framework of the Hue Royal Palace Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, on the evening of October 4, there will be a Lion - Lion - Dragon performance and a lantern procession on the main streets north of the Perfume River.
The procession's route is from Nghinh Luong Dinh relic - Tran Hung Dao street - Gia Hoi bridge - Trinh Cong Son park. The group will stop to perform at the following locations: the space in front of Phuong Nam bookstore - north of Truong Tien bridge; the intersection of Tran Hung Dao - Huynh Thuc Khang - Phan Dang Luu.
