On July 23, a working delegation led by Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam visited a number of typical livestock farms and enterprises in Tra Vong and Tan Bien communes, Tay Ninh province.

In Tra Vong commune, the delegation visited the export egg production line of QL Vietnam Agroresources, a subsidiary of QL Farms Company Limited, a 100% invested enterprise from QL Resources Group (Malaysia).

The company is operating two commercial egg-laying farms, with a total capacity of about 2 million eggs per day. Of which, domestic consumption accounts for 95-97%, while official export accounts for about 3-5%.

A representative of QL Vietnam Agroresources Company said that in the first 6 months of 2025, QL Farms exported nearly 10 million eggs to the international market.

The company plans to build a third egg-laying farm, with a capacity of approximately 1 million eggs per day. It is expected that in the period 2026 - 2030, the company's total egg output will reach 750 - 900 million eggs per year; expanding exports to the Halal market and countries such as Singapore, Korea, Japan, etc.

In Tan Bien commune, the delegation visited and worked at Thien Van pig farm. This is considered a large-scale farm, with systematic investment, applying many scientific and technological advances in closed-loop farming, helping to minimize the risk of disease, bringing high and stable economic efficiency.

Thien Van Farm organizes livestock farming in cooperation with CJ Vina Agri Company Limited, with a scale of 22,000 pigs/batch, including 22 rows of barns, each row of 1,000 pigs and divided into 2 separate areas, providing quality breeds, food, veterinary medicine and modern livestock farming technical support until output.

At the survey, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Lam highly appreciated the high-tech livestock farming model of the farms, focusing on converting from small-scale to large-scale farms, strengthening chain linkages from production to consumption, focusing on ensuring disease safety and food hygiene, aiming at exporting animal products. Livestock farming is identified by Tay Ninh province as one of the breakthrough areas of the agricultural sector, contributing to achieving the target of double-digit growth.
