Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan has just signed a Decision to assign direction and management to the Provincial Project Management Board for investment in construction of traffic works and rural agricultural development (referred to as Board A).

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned Mr. Truong Cong Thai, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to directly direct and operate Board A from August 1 until the position of Director of Board A is completed according to regulations.

Board A was established in 2017. This is a special public service unit under the Provincial People's Committee, under the direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee in terms of organization and operation; and professional guidance from the Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment, and relevant agencies and units.

The unit has the function of establishing, appraising and submitting for approval investment projects for construction of traffic works, agriculture, and rural development; organizing bidding, selecting construction contractors, supplying materials and equipment; managing and supervising construction, ensuring quality, progress and labor safety; accepting, paying and settling project works...

Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has transferred the status quo of 14 district-level project management boards to Board A for management.

Currently, Board A is allocated the largest amount of public investment capital among the units of the province and is assigned to be the investor of many key projects with large total investment such as: Component Project 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Investment Project Phase 1; Ho Chi Minh Road Project, East bypass section of Buon Ma Thuot City; Project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 1, section Km29+00 - Km49+00...
