Monitoring the implementation of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas

On the morning of September 29, a monitoring delegation led by Danh Tha, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, worked with the communes of U Minh Thuong, Vinh Hoa, Vinh Binh, and Vinh Phong on the implementation of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas by 2025.

At the monitoring session, representatives of communes reported on the implementation and disbursement of development investment capital and career capital under the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in 2025 and capital sources for the years extending to 2025.

Up to now, the communes have developed plans and disbursed capital sources to ensure requirements. However, the communes still face many difficulties in implementing projects, sub-projects and disbursing capital.

Comrade Danh Tha gave concluding remarks on the supervision session.

Speaking at the monitoring session, comrade Danh Tha acknowledged the efforts of the communes in implementing the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas.

He requested that localities that have plans to soon implement projects; speed up capital disbursement; the implementation of projects must ensure the right subjects, closely following the detailed allocation plan decision of the Provincial People's Committee.

Regarding the difficulties of localities, comrade Danh Tha requested that localities soon have specific reports for consideration, direction, and guidance on how to resolve them...
