Ha Long Ward: Support people to install digital signatures

Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, along with the central and provincial directive plans, Ha Long ward is actively implementing many solutions to promote comprehensive digital transformation. One of the important highlights is the activity of supporting people to install and use personal digital signatures, towards building digital government and digital citizens in the area.

Ha Long Ward People's Committee has coordinated with Viettel Military Telecommunications Group - Quang Ninh Branch to launch a program to guide and support people in registering and using personal digital signatures.

Accordingly, on July 18, the People's Committee of Ha Long Ward coordinated with Viettel Military Telecommunications Group - Quang Ninh Branch to launch a program to guide and support people in registering and using personal digital signatures. This is a practical technological solution to serve people in performing online administrative procedures at levels 3 and 4, signing electronically and receiving results of procedures online quickly, conveniently and safely.

The popularization of digital signatures for Ha Long ward residents will help improve the quality of online public services throughout the process, while providing personalized digital services based on citizen data. Thereby, significantly reducing the time and cost of administrative procedures; creating favorable conditions for people to participate in digital transactions regardless of administrative boundaries. Aiming for each citizen to have a digital account, digital skills, creating a foundation for forming digital citizens - one of the important pillars to promote sustainable development in the digital age.

Using digital signatures will help people in the ward to perform online administrative procedures at levels 3 and 4, sign electronically and receive procedure settlement results online quickly, conveniently and safely.

In the spirit of "clear thinking, high determination, great efforts, and resolute actions", Ha Long ward will continue to strengthen direction, supervision, and evaluation of service quality for people and businesses in implementing administrative procedures and public services based on data and accountability of state agencies and competent persons in serving the people.

According to the statistics of the Ward People's Committee, from July 1 (the official time of operation of the 2-level local government model), to the end of July 17, the ward has received 609 dossiers, forwarded 8 dossiers; of which 455 dossiers have been resolved on time and before the deadline (accounting for 75%), 162 dossiers are being processed. The satisfaction level in receiving and resolving administrative procedures of people and businesses reached over 98%.
