Yen So Ward met and honored 130 meritorious people

On the afternoon of August 25, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen So ward organized a meeting with people with meritorious services on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Yen So Ward People's Committee Tran Thanh Nga said that the conference to meet and give gifts to policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the ward is an activity of profound political and social significance, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree" of our nation. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to express sincere gratitude and deep gratitude to wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Reviewing the country's important historical events 80 years ago, comrade Tran Thanh Nga emphasized that, throughout the heroic historical journey, millions of outstanding children of the nation fought bravely, sacrificed their blood and bones, and devoted their whole lives to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Right in the heroic homeland of Yen So, many generations have enthusiastically set out, contributing to the glorious victory of the nation. Among them, there are comrades who left a part of their body on the battlefield, there are families who forever bid farewell to their loved ones, and there are also those who still silently bear the consequences of war. Those who have contributed to the revolution are a source of pride, a shining example of revolutionary heroism for today's and future generations to learn and follow...

Expressing gratitude to those who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, Chairman of Yen So Ward People's Committee Vu Tuan Dat said that in the ward there are currently more than 130 policy beneficiaries and meritorious people. Organizing a meeting with meritorious people is a vivid proof: Gratitude is not expressed in words, but in concrete actions, with the heart and responsibility of leaders towards the people.

Chairman of Yen So Ward People's Committee Vu Tuan Dat wished the wounded soldiers, martyrs' relatives, and meritorious people good health and happiness, and continued to be a support and a source of light for the younger generation to follow.

Comrade Vu Tuan Dat affirmed that the Yen So Ward Party Committee will continue to lead and direct the work of "Repaying gratitude" to become more and more in-depth, substantial and sustainable. The ward will mobilize the strength of the entire political system, connect the community to better care for the lives of people with meritorious services.

At the meeting, Yen So ward leaders presented 130 gifts, worth more than 220 million VND to meritorious families.
