In 2024, the coordination of propaganda activities between the Military Region Political Department, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Agency, newspapers and radio stations of 9 provinces was carried out seriously, closely, synchronously, uniformly and effectively. The propaganda content was comprehensive, the forms were diverse and rich, and the requirements and tasks were well completed. The highlight of the coordination of propaganda for important and urgent tasks in 2024 was the coordination of propaganda to highlight the heroic and courageous spirit of officers, soldiers and armed forces of the Military Region in participating in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of storms No. 2 and No. 3.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Hong Thai, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 2, acknowledged and commended the achievements in the coordination of propaganda work between the Political Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, and press agencies. He requested the Political Department of the Military Region, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of 9 provinces, and press agencies to continue to strongly innovate the coordination of propaganda work in a proactive, practical, and sensitive manner.

In particular, focusing on coordinating propaganda on the organization of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; propaganda and education on the history and traditions of the Party, the nation, the Army, and the armed forces of military regions; the revolution in organizational apparatus to ensure leanness, compactness, strength, effective and efficient operation; scientific development and national digital transformation.

At the same time, propaganda and education on "Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period... Propaganda coordination work must be carried out methodically, scientifically, practically and effectively in the new period. Thereby, effectively fighting against and refuting the false information and arguments of hostile forces.

Military Region 2 launched a literary and artistic composition contest with the theme "Continuing the heroic victory song" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Military Region's armed forces (October 19, 1946 - October 19, 2026).
