Under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Military Region Command; the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units, in recent years, the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" and building "Good mass mobilization units" in the Military Region 9 have been deployed synchronously, comprehensively, substantially, in-depth, in accordance with the practical situation, achieving practical results.

Agencies and units always stick to the locality, choose appropriate and effective content, forms and models of operation; coordinate to build a strong grassroots political system; mobilize resources to participate in socio-economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, and improve the material, cultural and spiritual life of the people.

Major General Huynh Van Ngon, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 9, delivered a speech directing the conference.

The Military Region 9's armed forces are always proactive and ready to be present in difficult and arduous places, participating in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, epidemics... performing well the functions of "fighting army", "working army", "production labor army" in the new situation; contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc, the people's trust in the Party, the State and the Army is increasingly firm; maintaining political stability and social order and safety in the area.

Units have creatively applied forms of mass mobilization work, registered to build hundreds of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models of collectives and individuals. Many typical and outstanding models such as: The Military-Civilian Tet model has been replicated and spread in the Military Region's armed forces and the entire army; "Policy dialogue for people with meritorious services to the revolution through the periods", "Giving savings books to young people leaving for military service", "Helping children go to school", "Youth - Women's Camp" and the model "Warm homes for the poor in border and island areas" ... have contributed to the good implementation of policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution, the work of gratitude, joining hands to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, creating people's trust in the leadership of the Party, State and Army in performing military and defense tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Huynh Van Ngon, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 9, requested units to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions, directives, regulations, plans, and instructions of all levels on strengthening and innovating mass mobilization work; promptly supplement and adjust policies and measures to lead and direct the implementation of mass mobilization and special propaganda work, especially implementing emulation movements in accordance with reality and close to the requirements and tasks of the Military Region's armed forces in the new situation.

Organize the replication of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models, build "Good Mass Mobilization Units", encourage cadres and soldiers to actively participate; promptly commend and reward outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in mass mobilization work...
