Quang Nam strengthens inspection and supervision of the issuance of electronic invoices for retail gasoline and oil.

According to the report of the Inter-sectoral Inspection Team on the implementation of monitoring the implementation of legal regulations on issuing electronic invoices for retail gasoline business, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province issued Official Dispatch No. 2537 directing and requesting the Departments of Industry and Trade, Science and Technology, Information and Communications; Tax Department, Market Management Department and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue to strengthen the implementation of regulations on issuing electronic invoices for retail gasoline business establishments in the province.

For the Tax Department, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the drafting of a document providing specific guidance on the regulations on the form of applying electronic invoices for petroleum trading enterprises, as well as the method of transmitting electronic invoice data that can be applied to petroleum trading activities. The time of issuing electronic invoices for each retail sale of petroleum so that business establishments can base on and implement them in accordance with the provisions of law.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade and the Market Management Department to coordinate with the Tax Department to regularly urge and supervise units and enterprises to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on petroleum trading; to issue electronic invoices for petroleum trading activities, especially the issuance of electronic invoices at stores for each retail sale of petroleum and to provide data according to regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to regularly coordinate with local tax authorities to guide petroleum business establishments on appropriate, feasible, effective and convenient solutions in issuing electronic invoices for each sale in accordance with the provisions of the law on measurement and the provisions of the law on tax management. Proactively implement measures to prevent and combat the impact of changes in technical measurement characteristics; enhance the detection of fraud in measurement through the use of petroleum measuring columns.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Information and Communications, Quang Nam Newspaper, and the Provincial Radio and Television Station to continue promoting the dissemination of legal regulations related to the issuance of electronic invoices for each retail sale of gasoline so that gasoline businesses comply with legal regulations.

District-level People's Committees are responsible for directing local tax authorities to closely inspect and monitor compliance with legal regulations on petroleum trading. In particular, attention should be paid to issuing electronic invoices when retailing petroleum, in order to prevent loss of state budget revenue and create a transparent business environment.
