Quang Ngai has 2 athletes winning the World Kickboxing Cup

VHO – Two athletes Nguyen Trung Dung and Vo Minh Triet participated with the Vietnamese Kickboxing team and won two medals at the 2025 World Kickboxing Cup Championship in Uzbekistan.

Two athletes Nguyen Trung Dung and Vo Minh Triet excellently won 2 medals.

Participating in this year's tournament with the Vietnam Kickboxing team, Quang Ngai province contributed 2 athletes.

In particular, athlete Nguyen Trung Dung (born 2006) competed with high determination, excellently surpassing his opponents to win the Silver Medal in the 63 kg weight class and Vo Minh Triet (born 2010) won the Bronze Medal in the 48 kg weight class at the World Kickboxing Cup Championship in Uzbekistan in 2025.

Leaders of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Training and Competition Center, and Nghia Hanh commune welcomed two athletes at Chu Lai airport.

At the World Kickboxing Cup Championship, athlete Nguyen Trung Dung demonstrated a decisive, strong and determined fighting style, thereby excelling in overcoming his opponents to step onto the podium of glory.

“Kickboxing helps me develop confidence, agility and self-defense skills. I am very happy to win the Silver Medal and have more motivation to practice in the future. I hope to have more opportunities to participate in other tournaments to continue to improve my skills and competition experience,” Dung shared.

With their relentless efforts and determination to compete with all their might, the two athletes have contributed to bringing glory to Quang Ngai sports in particular and Vietnamese sports in general.

The 2025 World Kickboxing Cup Championship takes place from October 7 to October 12 in Uzbekistan.
