There has been no major damage caused by the storm in all 54 communes, wards and special zones in the province. Strong winds have broken some trees along the road, damaged some roofs and billboards, and caused them to fall across the road, posing a potential risk of traffic accidents and hindering emergency response efforts.
From 4 a.m., the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) urgently deployed all working groups and vehicles, divided into many teams to coordinate with functional forces to organize patrols, conduct field surveys and handle unsafe areas and participate in cleaning up fallen trees, ensuring traffic and safety for people.
By this morning, the force had promptly handled dozens of locations with fallen trees and broken branches, clearing key traffic routes, especially in inner-city areas, densely populated residential areas, schools, hospitals and routes serving rescue and relief work.
The rain and wind also caused power outages in some communes and wards. Due to the complicated weather conditions, the power management team was not able to move to check, isolate and fix the problem on the power grid last night.
In some places, slight landslides also occurred. Authorities have cordoned off the area, put up warning ropes, and cleared the roadway to allow traffic.
Currently, communes and wards are still proactively and synchronously implementing solutions to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 in the spirit of "3 before, 4 on-site", absolutely not being negligent, subjective, or losing vigilance against natural disasters.
