Quang Ninh reclaims land for 30 projects with more than 80 hectares

On November 5, the 14th term People's Council of Quang Ninh province, term 2021-2026, opened the 22nd session (special session) to discuss and resolve a number of contents under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

Based on the delegates' discussion opinions and explanatory reports of the competent authorities, the People's Council of Quang Ninh province passed 11 resolutions with the consensus of 100% of the delegates attending the meeting.

Including the resolution on approving the list of projects, works of land recovery, land use purpose conversion and decision on the policy of converting forest use to other purposes in the province in the third phase. Adjusting the name, area of ​​the project, land recovery area, land use purpose conversion for a number of projects and works approved by the People's Council of Quang Ninh province.

Accordingly, land will be recovered from 30 projects and works with a total area of ​​more than 80 hectares; 52 projects and works need to change land use purposes with more than 38 hectares of rice land, 0.65 hectares of protective forest land and more than 211 hectares of production forest land.

11 projects and works decided to change the purpose of forest use to other purposes with 16.29 hectares of natural forest planned for protection forest and 97.321 hectares of planted forest planned for production forest.

16 projects adjusted names, areas and land acquisition areas. Adjusted project areas and land use purpose conversion areas for 7 projects approved by the Provincial People's Council because competent authorities had adjusted planning or confirmed the origin and type of land during the process of inventory and site clearance.
