Dong Thap and Tay Ninh provinces have planned to set off fireworks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2.

On August 24, news from the People's Committee of Dong Thap province said that the province has a plan to set off fireworks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province will organize a fireworks display on the evening of September 2 at Hung Vuong Square (Dao Thanh Ward). The program is expected to have 120 low-altitude fireworks displays, lasting 15 minutes.

Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to develop a suitable organization plan, ensuring absolute safety and savings. The Provincial Police, Dao Thanh Ward People's Committee and the Provincial Military Command were assigned to prepare a plan to maintain security and order, traffic flow and ensure safety in the area where the activities take place.

Meanwhile, Tay Ninh will organize fireworks displays on the evening of September 2 at two locations: Long An Ward and Tan Ninh Ward. The expected time for fireworks displays is from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with 120 low-altitude fireworks displays at each location, lasting about 15 minutes.

Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant agencies to develop a specific scenario, ensuring artistic quality and reasonable duration. The organization must be absolutely safe, economical and in compliance with regulations.

The functional units are responsible for monitoring the public and transparent funding sources; at the same time, implementing plans to ensure security, order, fire prevention and fighting and traffic flow. Along with that, propaganda work will be stepped up so that people can grasp information, proactively participate, contributing to creating a vibrant festival atmosphere.
