Launching a series of books commemorating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the exhibition booth, introducing the book series commemorating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory of the National Political Publishing House Truth.

Towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Truth National Political Publishing House has compiled and published the book series "Vo Nguyen Giap - The People's General" (in Vietnamese and 5 languages: Vietnamese - English, Vietnamese - French, Vietnamese - Spanish, Vietnamese - Chinese, Vietnamese - Arabic). The book preserves beautiful images of the life and revolutionary career of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army, the beloved Commander-in-Chief of our generals and soldiers.

Along with that, the Truth National Political Publishing House coordinated with Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and the Vietnam Historical Science Association to compile and publish the book Dien Bien Phu - History and Memory. The book selects articles and analyses on the Dien Bien Phu campaign by leaders and generals who were directly present, commanded, and participated in the campaign that year, scientists, commentators, writers, and journalists at home and abroad that have been published in the magazines Xua & Nay, Military History, and Political Theory to contribute more useful sources of information to historical researchers and all readers interested in national history, interested in one of the glorious victories of our nation in the long resistance war against invaders.

Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth Vu Trong Lam presented the book Heroes and Soldiers of Dien Bien Phu to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The Truth National Political Publishing House and the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee compiled and published the book Heroes and Soldiers of Dien Bien Phu. The book is like a stick of incense to pay tribute to and commemorate the contributions of the Heroes, martyrs, soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline workers... of 53 provinces and cities across the country who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and on the battlefields in the resistance war against the French colonialists.

Towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, in addition to the series of books introduced and launched today in Dien Bien, the Truth National Political Publishing House also publishes and widely distributes many books about the land, culture, some famous people, and typical historical figures of Dien Bien province... In particular, in parallel with publishing paper books, in order to further improve the effectiveness of communication work, widely spread the value and meaning of publications, the Publishing House also publishes electronic versions, serving domestic and foreign readers on the Publishing House's website sachquocgia.vn.
