The self-managed workers' group is a form of voluntary social organization, established among temporary workers residing in the boarding houses of Xuan Thieu 1 Residential Area. Through the self-managed workers' group, the Group's Executive Board will coordinate with the local police to organize activities to propagate the law and prevent social evils.
The Xuan Thieu 1 Self-Managed Workers' Group was established with the goal of building a close connection between migrant workers and residents, creating a safe and civilized living environment, supporting each other in life as well as in work.
At the program, workers listened to Hai Van Ward Police officers propagate and disseminate legal knowledge, policies and regulations on security and order, fire prevention and fighting. The content was conveyed closely, easy to understand, and practical to the daily lives of workers.
Currently, in Da Nang city, there are 72 self-managed worker groups in boarding houses.
The self-management model will help localities more easily approach and support workers, from propagating the law, organizing cultural and sports activities, to promptly resolving arising problems. This is also a channel for the union to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, promptly support and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
