Implementing Official Dispatch No. 4877/CD-BVHTTDL dated September 22, 2025 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on proactively responding to super typhoon Rasaga, Official Dispatch No. 23/CD-UBND dated September 23, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on proactively responding to Storm No. 9 (super typhoon Ragasa). To proactively respond to super typhoon Ragasa early and from a distance, ensuring the safety of people's lives and minimizing property damage, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests agencies and units: press; People's Committees of communes and wards; Management Boards of relics, tourist areas and spots; Provincial Tourism Association; Tourism service business units to focus on directing the implementation of the following contents:
Focus on leading and directing with the most urgent and drastic spirit, organize monitoring, update, and grasp the situation of the storm and the local situation. Develop specific storm and flood response plans early and from afar, anticipate possible scenarios, prepare available resources, and deploy immediately before the storm makes landfall.
Organize and closely coordinate with functional agencies and local authorities to review and inspect all tourist accommodation establishments and tourist attractions, especially areas at risk of landslides and flash floods; coordinate and organize information, propaganda and evacuate tourists to safe places; deploy necessary measures, count and call on tourist vehicles not to enter or exit dangerous areas.
Based on the specific situation of risks and the level of impact of the storm, proactively decide or advise competent authorities to temporarily suspend local entertainment and tourism activities to ensure the safety of people and tourists.
Immediately deploy measures to protect and reinforce cultural and sports facilities, historical and cultural relics, scenic spots, tourist areas and spots in the area, to minimize property damage caused by storms.
Press and media agencies and grassroots information systems in the whole province should strengthen and promote propaganda, broadcasting and timely reporting on the storm's developments from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, increase the duration and frequency of broadcasting storm forecast bulletins, promptly inform people to proactively prevent, combat and respond to the storm, guide people on prevention, response and damage reduction skills, especially people in dangerous areas, directly affected by the storm, areas at risk of flash floods and landslides.
