Sen Viet Stage brings "Tran Quoc Toan goes to war" to Hai Phong

On the morning of April 16, Meritorious Artist director Le Nguyen Dat - director of Sen Viet Stage said that his socialized stage unit is urgently rehearsing a Vietnamese history play to participate in the 1st National Stage Festival for Children and Youth held in Hai Phong City (from May 13 to 20).

Although many types of theater have been staged in the past such as: tuong, cheo, cai luong..., this time with a new version with the color of Southern folk musicals, it is hoped that by telling historical stories that are both national and modern, with the richness of nearly 50 Southern folk songs uniquely arranged by Meritorious Artist Vo Thanh Liem, it will create excitement for the performing artists, conveying genuine emotions to the audience through each level of love.

"It is both a lesson in patriotism and an introduction to the younger generation of national folk melodies. I think historical lessons must always be passed down and that is the responsibility of today's young generation. Sen Viet Stage always upholds that spiritual value and creates Vietnamese historical works with pride to continue the heritage that our ancestors left behind. The play features the participation of artists: Meritorious Artist Vu Luan (as Uncle Phuong), artist Le Trinh (as Tran Quoc Toan), Hoang Tung (as the King), Meritorious Artist Le Trung Thao (as Hung Dao Vuong), artist Vo Ngoc Quyen (as his wife), Thanh Khang (as Tran Ich Tac), Du Bao (as Tran Luong).

Script: Nguyen Phuong, stage design: artist Tran Hong Van, master choreographer Le Hai. In addition to the performance plan in Hai Phong, the play will be performed at Tran Huu Trang Theater (May 11, 12 and June 1, 2).
