This stage production promotion has made the public very much anticipated, especially the young audience. Because all 3 plays have been evaluated in many previous shows, even over many years, so they are meticulous and attractive, now performed again with more smoothness and sophistication.
In response to the Conference summarizing 50 years of Ho Chi Minh City's literature and arts and Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports has planned to invest funds to promote the above works to workers, students and audiences of all classes. The play Duc Thuong Cong Ta Quan Le Van Duyet - the man who received 9 death sentences of IDECAF stage once made the audience shed tears because of the grief and gratitude for the person who had great contributions to the land of Saigon - Gia Dinh. The stage recreated the period when Le Van Duyet rushed into the fight against negativity, not afraid of the "forbidden zone" whose main target was the father-in-law of King Minh Mang. Even Minh Mang was afraid of the "tiger" of the Southern land, so he withdrew Governor Le Van Duyet to Phu Xuan to neutralize it. But without Duc Ta Quan, Gia Dinh was in chaos, so the king had to send him back to Gia Dinh to restore peace... The play was thrilling, the images were beautiful, with serious and very skilled acting by Dinh Toan, Dai Nghia, Hoang Trinh, Quang Thao... The stage design was magnificent, worthy of being a classic historical play.

The play Burning Field recreates a true historical story in the Mau Than campaign. On the night of June 15, 1968, in Lang Sau field, a group of frontline workers who were supplying ammunition to the inner city and taking wounded soldiers to the rear were attacked by the enemy using helicopters and opened fire, killing 32 workers, most of whom were young girls. The play has a tense and painful war atmosphere, but still cleverly interspersed with layers of gentle, humorous humor. Director Quoc Thao surprised with his intelligent staging. The scene was very real, without any "propaganda" features, with a bit of humor to relax. Quoc Thao handled it flexibly, highlighting the fierceness of war but still attracting the audience.
The play "Comrades" of 5B stage boldly plunged into another "war" after peace . There, conscience and ideals were challenged by money and fame. Doing business is right, getting rich is right, but not being transparent and unjust is very wrong. That is why veterans like Mr. Trung, Mr. Tam, Mr. Chinh, Mr. Lam had to "go to battle" again to prevent the young from going astray. The comradely love still shines, giving people hope in life.
For the above 3 plays, audiences who receive tickets can contact the theaters directly to know the upcoming performance schedule.
