Official answers for 2025 high school graduation exams to be announced soon

This year, the high school graduation exam is held with subjects for both students studying under the 2018 general education program according to the new exam plan. At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training continues to organize exams for students studying under the 2006 general education program who have not graduated or who need to retake the exam for university admission.

Previously, the high school graduation exam marking process started from July 5 to July 13. At exactly 8:00 a.m. on July 16, the exam councils announced the results.

However, answering reporters at a previous press conference, the exam marking was carried out early, from June 28, right after the high school graduation exam.

The recognition of high school graduation must be considered no later than July 18. The temporary graduation certificate must be issued; the transcripts and related certificates (originals) must be returned to the candidates. The high school principal must complete this no later than July 22.

Print and send exam result certificates to candidates, complete by July 22nd at the latest.

Receiving appeal applications and making appeal lists will take place from July 16 to July 25. Considering recognition of high school graduation after appeal no later than August 8.

From July 10 to 20, the Departments of Education and Training will provide additional accounts for candidates (high school and college graduates) who do not have an account to register for admission on the system to carry out online registration.

Other candidates register their admission wishes on the system from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28 (unlimited number of wishes).

On July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold to ensure input quality for teaching and health sectors with practice licenses.

From 5:00 p.m. on July 23, training institutions will announce the admission scores and equivalent admission scores on the system and on the training institutions' websites. From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates will pay the admission fee online on the system.

Training institutions will notify candidates who have passed the first round of admission from 5:00 p.m. on August 22. Candidates will confirm their first round of admission online on the system from 5:00 p.m. on August 30. Training institutions (with remaining quotas) will notify additional admissions from September 1.

Previously, candidates who registered for direct admission and priority admission had to submit their applications before 5:00 p.m. on June 30. Candidates who were admitted directly will be notified by training institutions before July 15, and must continue to register their admission wishes on the admission system according to the general schedule.
