On September 15, at the Logistics and Digital Trade Connection Conference, Vietnam SuperPort™, Vietnam Post Logistics and Visa, in collaboration with partners in the banking, finance and technology sectors, officially launched the Logistics Connection Platform.

All-in-one Logistics Connection Platform for SMEs

When put into operation, the Logistics Connection Platform will provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a comprehensive digital process from ordering to payment, integrating real-time order tracking features, helping to simplify document procedures and make the process transparent.

In addition, the platform also connects directly to the bonded warehouse system, transportation network and financial services such as loans, disbursements and diverse payments. By improving cash flow and reducing dependence on paperwork, the platform helps SMEs operate more efficiently and confidently participate in global trade.

During the pilot phase, the initiative will focus on implementing it for businesses in Phu Tho and Tay Ninh provinces, and then expand to other provinces and cities nationwide.

Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort TM, affirmed his commitment to promoting digital transformation in the logistics sector and supporting Vietnamese SMEs to go global.

Vietnam SuperPort™ pioneers in developing breakthrough technology solutions

Vietnam SuperPort™ is a multimodal logistics "super port" developed by a strategic joint venture between T&T Group of businessman Do Quang Hien and YCH Group - a leading supply chain solutions provider in Singapore. This is the first project in the ASEAN Smart Logistics Network.

Vietnam SuperPort™ is positioned as a strategic multimodal logistics hub, connecting the China-Southeast Asia freight network with global markets via road, rail, air and sea. As a key node in the ASEAN smart logistics network, Vietnam SuperPort™ is built to enhance regional integration and cross-border trade, promoting seamless, faster and smarter supply chains.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort™, emphasized: "The Logistics Connectivity Platform affirms our commitment to promoting digital transformation in the logistics sector and supporting Vietnamese SMEs to reach out globally. Through cooperation and leveraging the strengths of strategic partners, we are building a completely new technology platform that opens up an "all-in-one" ecosystem, helping businesses to be competitive in the international market."

As supply chains become increasingly interconnected, the efficiency of cross-border trade depends on the ability of financial flows to be as seamless and rapid as the movement of goods between parties. A recent study by Visa shows that Vietnamese businesses are leading the Asia-Pacific region in the adoption of B2B card payments, clearly reflecting Vietnam’s readiness for digital transformation in business operations. Through commercial payment solutions, Visa helps businesses streamline procurement processes, optimize cash flow and improve operational efficiency.

Ms. Dang Tuyet Dung, Country Manager of Visa Vietnam and Laos, shared: " The strategic partnership with Vietnam SuperPort TM aims to support SMEs through more efficient payment solutions, increased access to capital and transparency across the entire supply chain. By integrating secure digital payment methods into the Logistics Connectivity Platform, we help businesses accelerate the payment process and build strong trust with business partners. This demonstrates Visa's commitment to promoting seamless trade, contributing to making Vietnam a dynamic economic hub in the region and globally."

In addition, within the framework of the Logistics and Digital Trade Connection Conference, Vietnam SuperPort™ introduced the cargo handling capacity of the air cargo warehouse, integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics - solutions that have been successfully deployed at Supply Chain City (SCC) in Singapore that YCH Group had previously successfully developed, opening a new step in building a modern multimodal supply chain in Vietnam, aiming to improve Vietnam's integration into the global supply chain, reduce logistics costs and enhance the country's competitive advantage in international trade.

Vietnam SuperPort™ has an area of up to 83 hectares, with a total investment of about 200 million USD, located in Phu Tho province, invested and developed by T&Y SuperPort Vinh Phuc Joint Stock Company - a joint venture between T&T Group and YCH Group (Singapore).

Located on the Northern Economic Corridor, Vietnam SuperPort™ connects 20 industrial parks to major seaports and airports, including Hai Phong, Noi Bai, and extending to Yunnan and Kunming provinces, China. Inheriting nearly 70 years of experience in logistics from YCH Group, Vietnam SuperPort™ also takes advantage of connections to global supply centers across Asia, including China, India and Southeast Asia.

With the goal of becoming the first multimodal logistics port in Southeast Asia to achieve net zero emissions, Vietnam SuperPort™ is committed to sustainable development with an integrated plan to use clean energy and apply advanced technologies.
