On the afternoon of September 18, in a dialogue conference with businesses operating in Tay Ninh province, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that the province will continue to proactively use its budget to invest in transport infrastructure in the direction of connecting with Ho Chi Minh City, and connecting between the two areas of the old Tay Ninh province and the old Long An province.
"The entire Tay Ninh province will continue to be a construction site for traffic routes. We will prioritize the budget to proactively develop traffic. Specifically, in the 2025-2030 period, the province will spend about 35,000 billion to develop important traffic works," said Mr. Ut.
The Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee also affirmed that the planning of future traffic routes "will no longer be concerned about scale".
Specifically, the province plans the roads to have at least 10 lanes. In phase 1, the investment will be from at least 4 lanes to 6 lanes, then expanded and completed, no longer just 2 lanes or 4 lanes.
"The demand is growing, we recently built a 6-lane road connecting to Ho Chi Minh City area, expected to be inaugurated at the end of this year, but so far we have seen quite a few shortcomings because when connected, 6 lanes are still not enough," Mr. Ut added.
In addition, Mr. Ut also expressed excitement when saying that this year Tay Ninh will certainly soon achieve the budget revenue target in the province.
In just the first 8 months of the year, the province's total budget revenue reached over 35,598.8 billion VND, reaching 95.7% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government and 94.5% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, an increase of 32.3% over the same period.
"We have never been able to achieve our budget revenue target so quickly. This demonstrates the great potential of Tay Ninh after the merger," Mr. Ut excitedly said.

Mr. Ut said that Tay Ninh province is currently a unique combination of the Southeast region (old Tay Ninh province) and the Southwest region (old Long An province), creating a very important position when located between Ho Chi Minh City and the Southwest provinces and has a very long border to connect with neighboring Cambodia.
"Therefore, in addition to continuing to orientate industry, high-tech agriculture, trade, services and urban areas, in our planning that is currently being adjusted, there are two issues of special concern: logistics and border gate economy . Besides, there is also a new issue of developing tourism exploitation in spiritual culture," Mr. Ut shared.
At the conference, more than 20 businesses expressed many concerns related to tax issues, land rental conversion, investment procedures, etc.
The departments and branches of Tay Ninh province have had a dialogue on each issue. Regarding tax-related issues, Mr. Ut requested the tax department to coordinate with the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee to have a separate dialogue conference to specifically resolve each issue and provide detailed instructions for people to follow the regulations.
"How can businesses, after dialogue, be satisfied, have no more concerns, and have a firm grasp of the law for implementation?", Mr. Ut suggested.
