Department of Education and Training reduces 6 departments after merger

According to the Project to establish the Department of Education and Training (GD-DT) of Dak Lak province on the basis of merging the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province (old) and the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen province (old) approved by the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the organization of the Department of Education and Training will have 7 professional departments, a reduction of more than 46% of the total number of departments of the two units.

Specifically: the total number of departments of the two Departments of Education and Training of Dak Lak (old) and Phu Yen provinces is 13 departments and equivalent (the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak (old) province has 6 departments and equivalent; the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen province has 7 departments and equivalent); the total number of assigned civil servants is 104; the total number of civil servants currently present is 94.

After the merger, there will be 98 positions and the apparatus will be reorganized to include 7 departments (reduced by 6 departments, accounting for 46.15%) and 114 affiliated public service units.

Departments include: Office; Personnel Department; Planning - Finance Department; Quality Management - Information Technology Department; General Education Department; Vocational Education - Continuing Education Department; Preschool Education Department.

After the merger, the Department of Education and Training is a specialized agency under the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, playing an important role in advising and assisting the People's Committee of the province in performing the state management function of education and training in the locality according to the provisions of law and performing the tasks and powers as decentralized by the People's Committee of the province and the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province.

To ensure operations, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training after the merger will operate at two facilities. The main office is located at 08 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Buon Ma Thuot Ward; the second facility is located at 56 Le Duan, Tuy Hoa Ward, Dak Lak Province.
