Soc Son clears violations of traffic safety corridor

On September 25, the functional forces of Soc Son commune organized a campaign to clear constructions and items that violated traffic safety corridors, violated public land, and used land for illegal purposes in the area under the National Highway 18 bridge and in Duong 3 village and Dong Doai village.

The authorities coordinated with units such as Soc Son Electricity Company, Traffic Inspection Team, Hanoi Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company 2 and mobilized excavators, dump trucks, and air cutters to clear 8 cases of traffic safety corridor violations, public land violations, and land misuse. The violating constructions were mainly built with corrugated iron, B40 mesh, barbed wire, and tents, obstructing traffic.

All of the above cases were violations many years ago, causing public outrage.

Faced with that situation, the People's Committee of Soc Son commune directed the functional forces and organizations to organize the clearance, resolutely handle the situation, and return the land to its original state. Immediately after the clearance, Soc Son commune continued to direct the functional forces to coordinate with the villages to regularly inspect, manage, and prevent re-encroachment.
