SABECO showed its sophistication in the “Heritage Night” event at Vinh Long Square on the evening of September 27. Part of the “150 Years of Heritage Rising” campaign organized by SABECO, to honor SABECO’s 150-year heritage journey associated with the Vietnamese beer industry, while spreading the spirit of solidarity and aspiration to rise with the country, the highlight of the event was the elaborately staged music program, leading the audience on the 150-year heritage journey and towards SABECO’s aspiration to constantly rise.
Referring to heritage, it is the traditional values, identity and inheritance, the intersection between the past and the present to promote the future. The appearance of singer Tieu Minh Phung is a reminder of that. Originally a Cai Luong artist, the boy born in 1997 made a strong impression when incorporating melodies, folk songs and long vọng cổ verses into Rap songs.
Once considered a fertile land for the Cai Luong stage, at “Heritage Night”, Vinh Long people were extremely excited when Cai Luong, an important part of Vietnam’s cultural heritage, put on a new coat, with a lively and modern performance. With “Mien Tay Heyheyhey”, “Ly Rapper” and “Hen Be Lan Sau”, Tieu Minh Phung truly ignited the emotions and pride of thousands of audiences at Vinh Long Square.

Next, singer Lamoon brought a different color to “Heritage Night”. At Em Xinh Say Hi, Lamoon successfully combined folk music with modern pop. Now, the female warrior of “Tunnel: Sun in the Dark” continues to surprise and excite the audience with a modern, youthful style, not afraid to try new directions. If “Khong mot loi no” is emotional, touching the listener’s heart, “Tinh tang dam say” is too sweet, then “Synth chuc tong ly” creates a full range of emotions. And when Lamoon sang “One two dance one two do”, the audience also sang “one two do”, just like when they raise their glasses of Saigon Beer at parties.
To complete the music party “Heritage Night”, DJ Amy Chen came and heated up the atmosphere. The beautiful girl who constantly pursued her passion, overcame all difficulties to make her dream come true, along with Tieu Minh Phung, Lamoon is also the embodiment of the message that SABECO wants to convey: We honor the past, maintain our identity but are also ready to welcome new things, break the limits, conquer challenges and reach for the future with Vietnamese pride.

Over the past 150 years, starting with the aspiration of a pioneering spirit, from a small ice factory in Saigon in 1875 to the first brewery in the South in 1909, then establishing the leading beer brand in Vietnam and reaching the world. Throughout the long journey, SABECO has continuously grown, inheriting the pioneering spirit to overcome many stages of transformation and write a sustainable legacy. It is also a legacy with the purpose of promoting sustainable development, pioneering responsible production and contributing to the economic and social growth of Vietnam for many generations to come.
Vinh Long is currently one of the key localities in SABECO's development strategy. This is also where the company invested in the Saigon - Vinh Long Beer Factory with an investment scale of up to 600 billion VND. Not only focusing on production and business, SABECO also builds connections with local people through humane and meaningful community projects such as the project "Lighting up the countryside" in My Loc commune, Tam Binh district with a road using solar lights to help improve economic and social infrastructure in rural areas.
After Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long, the series of events "Heritage Journey" and "Heritage Night" will continue to Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Hanoi.
