Son La won 5 medals at the 2025 National Senior Badminton Tournament

From September 24 to 30, at the Dak Lak Provincial Sports Gymnasium, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province coordinated with the Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly and the Vietnam Badminton Federation to organize the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Senior Badminton Tournament.

Son La athlete won gold medal in men's doubles 56-60 years old.

Son La athlete won silver medal in men's doubles 46 - 50 years old.

The tournament gathered more than 300 athletes from 18 provinces, cities and sectors across the country, competing in the following categories: men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, in the following age groups: 36-40 years old; 41-45 years old; 46-50 years old; 51-55 years old; 56-60 years old; 61-65 years old; 66-70 years old. The men's doubles leadership category competed in the age groups 51-60 years old and 61-70 years old.

Son La athlete won silver medal in 61-65 age category.

Son La athlete won bronze medal in women's doubles 61 - 65 years old.

Son La athlete won bronze medal in men's doubles 66 - 70 years old.

Son La delegation participated in the tournament with 14 athletes. After 7 days of competition, with the spirit of solidarity and enthusiasm, Son La's athlete pairs overcame the matches with strong opponents from provinces and cities across the country, winning 1 gold medal in the men's doubles category 56-60 years old; 2 silver medals in the men's doubles category 46-50 years old and 61-65 years old; 2 bronze medals in the women's doubles category 61-65 years old and men's doubles category 66-70 years old.
