
According to statistics, in Son My commune, 19 houses were affected by the storm, causing damage, some houses had their roofs completely blown off, some houses had their roofs partially blown off and damaged outbuildings. Among them, Mr. Ho Phan Luc Chau (Pho Tri village) was seriously injured and was promptly taken to the emergency room. Many families with damaged houses were concentrated in villages 3, Pho Tri village; Go Don village, Suoi Bang village) and village 1.

At the scene, broken crops (acacia, scattered crops, fruit trees and 40 rubber trees (20 years old) were found. Currently, the villages are being deployed to report specific damage statistics. Some roads in the villages were eroded, but not significantly, and people have repaired them themselves to serve travel.

On the morning of July 21, the leaders of the Commune People's Committee and relevant agencies directly went to the scene, directed the mobilization of military forces, police, border guards and member organizations of the Front to help people temporarily cover, clean up the scene, protect property, and minimize further damage that may occur due to complicated weather. At the same time, financial support for seriously injured cases was 3 million VND and each household whose house was damaged was 1 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Le Thanh - Secretary of Son My commune, said: Immediately after the incident, the local government and other forces were on duty, actively supporting people to clean up and re-roof. Commune leaders also visited and gave initial support money to families with injured people and those with serious damage. The commune's functional branches are inventorying and assessing the damage to present a support plan according to legal regulations.

The Commune Fatherland Front Committee actively mobilized local organizations and people to support local forces, join hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love of the community. Currently, the forces have been supporting people to re-roof temporary corrugated iron roofs, clean up houses, rearrange furniture, cover damaged areas, helping people to stabilize their lives soon. Support necessities (rice and instant noodles) and arrange temporary accommodation to ensure safety for affected households.

Local authorities are closely monitoring weather developments, especially storm No. 3, to take timely preventive measures to minimize human and property damage. At the same time, they are monitoring heavy rains that pose a risk of flash floods and localized flooding in the area.
