Vietnam International Photography Festival (VIPF) is an international photography activity, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , every two years.
The locality hosting the festival is also the locality hosting the National Tourism Year. Through this, VIPF aims to build a brand for Vietnamese photography; contribute to promoting the beautiful image of the country and people of Vietnam, and enhance international exchanges through photography activities. After being held twice in Ninh Binh and Binh Thuan provinces, the Vietnam International Photography Festival has created a good impression and effect.
The 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival - Hue 2025, hosted by Hue City, is an important art activity among the activities of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025.

The 3rd VIPF has 3 main activities: photo exchange and creation in Hue City; photo exhibition "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" and Award Ceremony, Opening of the photo exhibition "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" (3rd time).
The photo exchange and creation program in Hue City was held from May 23 to 29, 2025, gathering 30 photographers from Vietnam and other countries: India, Laos, Japan, Singapore. The photographers took thousands of beautiful photos of the landscape, life, people, culture and art of Hue. Many photos taken during this exchange and creation were selected for exhibition and awarded at the Photo Exhibition "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" (3rd time), contributing to promoting Hue to the domestic public and international friends.

The third photo exhibition “Vietnam through the lens of international photographers” received 6,076 entries from 415 authors. The authors came from Australia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Laos, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the United States, Wales, England, and Vietnam.
The Organizing Committee selected 200 works by 133 authors (112 Vietnamese authors and 21 foreign authors) to display. Of these, 20 works were selected to be awarded equal prizes. The young author from Can Tho City who was awarded the prize at this event was Le Tuan Anh, born in 1996, a teacher at Bui Huu Nghia High School (Binh Thuy Ward), with the work "The Attraction of Phu Quoc". Previously, this work won an award at the 2024 Mekong Delta Regional Art Photography Festival.

The photo exhibition “Vietnam through the lens of international photographers” (3rd time) takes place from September 10 to September 20 at the Hue Museum of Fine Arts (Diem Phung Thi Art Center), 17 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City.
