According to the indictment of the People's Procuracy of Ha Tinh City, at about 11:00 p.m. on May 3, 2024, after attending the Ha Tinh team's party at Binh Minh Hotel (in Tran Phu Ward, Ha Tinh City), Dinh Thanh Trung invited Duong Quang Tuan to use drugs and Tuan agreed. Trung also told Tuan to invite Nguyen Trung Hoc to use drugs with him.

Tuan texted Hoc to tell him the location and asked him to buy a bottle of soft drink to mix drugs with. Hoc agreed and then called LTH (25 years old, living in Dak Nong province) to come up and use drugs with him.

The trial had to be adjourned due to the absence of the defendant Duong Quang Tuan's defense lawyer.

Then, Tuan and Trung both texted Nguyen Ngoc Thang to invite him to Binh Minh Hotel to use drugs. All four former players then agreed to pool money to buy drugs to use the next day.

Trung rented room 501 at Binh Minh Hotel in advance and texted Tuan, Hoc and Thang. At 11:30 pm the same day, Tuan texted Trung to buy 1 package of 'happy water', 8 ecstasy pills and 3.5 million VND worth of Ketamine.

After Trung agreed, Tuan used the Telegram application to contact the person whose name was saved in the Telegram contact list as "Chi Chi" (full name and specific address unknown) to order the drugs from this person. About 15 minutes later, the drug seller texted Tuan the location of the drugs.

Because he was busy, Tuan called Trung to go get the drugs. After getting the drugs, Trung took them to the hotel room and then called LTĐ. (22 years old, living in Dien Bien province) to go to the hotel to use drugs.

At around midnight on May 4, Tuan went to the hotel room that Trung had booked in advance, carrying a backpack containing a portable speaker, a white, square ceramic plate, a black and white rectangular plastic card, and a straw. Tuan then texted a girl named TTTG (22 years old, living in Ha Tinh City) to go to the hotel to use drugs, and she agreed. A while later, Trung and another girl also showed up.

At about 1 a.m. the same day, Thang picked up HTVA (over 17 years old, living in Dak Nong province) to the hotel to use drugs with him and his friends.

At the same time, Hoc and Nguyen Van Truong, who were returning from a trip, also took a taxi to Binh Minh Hotel. While in the taxi, Truong saw Tuan texting him to go to room 501 of Binh Minh Hotel to use drugs, and the player agreed.

When returning to the hotel, Hoc also invited Truong to room 501 to use drugs. Hoc and Truong went to buy soft drinks to mix drugs into the drink. Truong then rented room 502 at Binh Minh Hotel and invited NTTP (24 years old, living in Ha Tinh City) to sleep with him, and the girl agreed.

It is clear who bought the drugs, who mixed them, and who prepared the tools.

After using drugs, Truong and P. went to room 502 to sleep, while the remaining people in room 501 continued to use drugs and listen to music.

At 10:30 a.m. the same day, while Trung, Tuan, Thang, Hoc and 4 girls were illegally using drugs and listening to music in room 501, they were caught red-handed by the Ha Tinh City Police.

At the scene, the authorities seized 1.9576 grams of Ketamine, 0.6064 grams of MDMA and 510 ml of Methamphetamine, MDMA, Ketamine and Nimetazepam...

The indictment of the People's Procuracy of Ha Tinh City determined that this was a case of complicity, the defendants all agreed to contribute money to buy drugs to organize illegal drug use.

In which, Trung played the role of mastermind, initiator, provided location, directly went to get drugs for others to illegally use drugs; Tuan was the person who directly contacted to buy and get drugs, prepared tools and objects to organize illegal drug use, directly cooked Ketamine for others to use, gave drugs to others to use; Hoc was the person who prepared soft drinks to mix drugs, gave drugs to others to use; Thang was the person who prepared tools to organize illegal drug use, gave drugs to others to use and was the person who prepared soft drinks and objects to organize illegal drug use.

The actions of the five girls were not sufficient to warrant criminal prosecution, so Ha Tinh City Police have imposed administrative penalties on them for illegal drug use.
