Bus route No. 02 Hau River Park - Phong Dien town is temporarily suspended until further notice.
On December 12, the Center for Urban Traffic Management and Operation (Department of Transport of Can Tho City) said that the Department of Transport of Can Tho City has just agreed to temporarily suspend the operation of the Hau River Park bus route to Phong Dien town.

Previously, the unit operating the route, Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines, sent a document requesting the temporary suspension of the above bus route.
"Through a meeting to discuss, agree and give opinions, the Department of Transport of Can Tho City agreed to allow Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines to temporarily suspend bus route No. 02: Hau River Park - Phong Dien Town. This route will resume operation when people's travel demand increases to connect the center with districts to serve passengers," the Urban Traffic Management and Operation Center added.
Can Tho currently operates 11 inner-city bus routes with a total length of more than 360km.
The routes include: Ba Lang - O Mon; O Mon - Lo Te intersection; Song Hau park - Phong Dien town; Can Tho International Airport - Can Tho city central bus station; O Mon - Co Do town; Lo Te - Kinh B intersection; Lo Te intersection - Co Do town; Phong Dien - Lo Te Ba Se - O Mon; Phong Dien - Thoi Lai; Ba Lang - Tra Noc Industrial Park - O Mon.
In addition, there are 10 adjacent routes connecting Vinh Long, Soc Trang , Dong Thap, Hau Giang, An Giang provinces with a total of 70 vehicles. The provincial Department of Transport is managing the route.
To ensure the travel needs of the people, Can Tho city has invested in 1,430 bus stops, bus shelters, and transfer points. Of these, there are 116 bus shelters and 431 modern stops.
