According to information from Thanh Hoa Police, at around 10:15 a.m. on March 11, at Km 378 (Nghi Son intersection) of National Highway 45 - Nghi Son - Dien Chau in Tan Truong commune, Nghi Son town, the Traffic Police team discovered a container truck with license plate 15C-209.32 pulling a trailer 15R - 113.71 driven by Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1994, residing in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province).

At that time, the working group discovered that driver Nguyen Van Thanh was driving his car into a road with a sign prohibiting entry for the vehicle being driven.

After discovering the incident, the task force signaled the vehicle to stop, however, driver Nguyen Van Thanh did not obey the command but increased the speed, bypassed the task force, and fled.

Immediately, the task force used a patrol car to chase, but Thanh still deliberately swerved and swerved the car.

At Km 369 + 200m of Highway QL45 - Nghi Son - Dien Chau in Phu Son commune, Nghi Son town, the patrol car of the working group overtook the container truck and signaled it to stop.

At this time, Nguyen Van Thanh continued to drive the container truck straight into the back of the working group's car, causing damage to the rear of the car.

Nghi Son town police have detained Nguyen Van Thanh for "resisting a person on official duty".
