At the talks, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong affirmed that the Vietnam-Mongolia relationship is at its best stage of development after more than 70 years of establishing diplomatic relations and one year after establishing the Comprehensive Partnership during the State visit to Mongolia by General Secretary and President To Lam.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong suggested that the two sides promote defense and security cooperation, including in the fields of military technology, defense industry, peacekeeping operations at the United Nations, law enforcement, crime prevention, and development of the Vietnam Cavalry Mobile Police Corps; and suggested promoting the re-signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two National Assemblies in accordance with the new framework of the relationship.

Leaders of the Mongolian Parliament wish to share experiences between the two parliaments in the legislative field of protection and attraction of foreign investment. The Mongolian Parliament is making efforts to improve the legal system, creating favorable conditions for investors, including Vietnamese enterprises, especially in the fields of agriculture, electricity industry, processing, mining, and manufacturing industry.
Meeting with the Mongolia-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong proposed continuing to promote the role of a bridge between the two peoples, promoting substantive cooperation between the two countries' parliaments, and supporting and promoting the Vietnam-Mongolia relationship to develop more strongly and comprehensively.
The delegation also visited Inter-level School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh, and laid flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument on campus.
