On the morning of October 3, at the headquarters of the National Assembly Office - 22 Hung Vuong, Hanoi, the Delegation Affairs Committee reviewed and completed the draft Resolution of the National Election Council regulating the form of candidate application, ballot, content of polling booths and types of document templates used in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, including the content of integrating information fields on VneID for candidates.

According to the report of the representative of the Ministry of Public Security, regarding the results of the implementation of the task of applying the population database to create the voter list, the Ministry of Public Security has been urgently completing the Decision guiding the exploitation and use of the National Population Database and the application of electronic identification (VNeID) in the process of creating the voter list, printing voter cards to serve the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term to issue after sending for comments to the Office of the National Election Council, the Office of the National Assembly, the Committee for Delegation Affairs, the Government Office , the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice.

In parallel, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order has proactively prepared and built the Voter List software for early implementation.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh suggested that it is necessary to continue researching and closely following current legal regulations related to election work to carry out the work.

Emphasizing that the time from now until the election day is very short, Deputy Head of the Delegation Work Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh suggested that units strengthen close coordination and absorb maximum opinions to complete assigned requirements and tasks.
