Speed ​​up the implementation of commercial and service center projects

BAC NINH - With the goal of developing a synchronous, modern and high-quality service industry, focusing on trade and services in urban areas and around industrial parks, many trade and service center projects in the province are being accelerated to be put into use, creating more highlights for the space as well as contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

The Bac Ninh Phoenix Complex International Foreign Affairs Center project has a scale of 1.6 hectares, located on Han Thuyen Street, Kinh Bac Ward, started construction in 2022, with an investment capital of more than 570 billion VND. The works have so far been basically completed and put into operation a part of the high-end service and commercial complex. Accordingly, the project includes more than 600 rooms meeting 4-star standards or higher, office rental areas, restaurant services, supermarkets, health care, sports , entertainment... With synchronous and modern infrastructure, connected with the technical infrastructure of surrounding projects, at this time the number of guests staying at the Center is about 60%, of which over 90% are foreign experts working in the area.

According to Mr. Luong Quoc Toan, Deputy General Director of Phu Giang Paper and Packaging Company - the project investor, Bac Ninh Phoenix Complex International Foreign Relations Center, in addition to the projects that have been put into operation, the enterprise is focusing resources to continue to speed up the construction progress, completing the interior package of Phoenix Hotel with about 120 high-class rooms, expected to be completed and put into service in August. Thereby, creating more highlights of urban space, meeting the needs of urban services and utilities, as well as improving the quality of trade and services in the province, especially the process of completing the goal of becoming a centrally-run city.

In recent days, despite the alternating rainy and sunny weather, construction workers at the Thien Dong Industrial Park Trade and Service Center project (Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park) have been actively working on interior packages such as: Painting, doors, plastic ceilings... striving to put the project into operation in August. It is known that the project started construction in November 2024, with the purpose of providing services, including renting houses for offices, conference halls, restaurants, mini supermarkets... When put into operation, it will contribute to promoting the socio -economic development process, creating jobs for many workers, creating highlights for the space as well as promoting trade and service activities in the industrial parks.

Similarly, the representative of the Project Management Board of the Nenh Ward Mixed Service Trade Center said that the project has now completed 99% of the structure, with the deployment of 3 consecutive shifts a day, the construction unit strives to top off the project on July 5, about 50 days earlier than planned. At the same time, the goal is to complete the entire project and put it into use in March next year (4 months earlier than planned).

According to the representative of the Department of Construction, the province is implementing many commercial and service projects, some of which have just been completed or are in the process of accelerating construction and completing investment procedures. Despite the unfavorable weather, the relevant units are still trying to concentrate on labor, equipment, and machinery, ensuring 3 shifts day and night to soon bring the project to the finish line on schedule. Some projects include: The Metropolitan Bac Giang commercial and service urban area, Tien Phong ward; construction of a tourism, trade and general service center in Vo Cuong ward; hotel project belonging to the complex project of Trade Center, apartments and 5-star hotel in Kinh Bac ward...

In particular, recently, the project investor of AeonMall Vietnam in Bac Giang and Tan Tien wards is being accompanied by the provincial authorities to remove difficulties and obstacles, support investors with procedures, and speed up the project progress. This is an investment project to build a commercial center combined with office business and tourism activities with a large scale of nearly 7.7 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 4 trillion VND, thereby opening up opportunities and development potential for high-quality commercial and service centers.

According to the representative of the Department of Construction, the province's functional sector has been and will continue to pay attention to the general orientation to develop compact urban areas, synchronous infrastructure associated with trade and service development. Prioritizing the development of urban areas in the direction of ecology, smartness, modernity, creating momentum to promote the development of logistics services, science - technology, innovation, digital transformation, trade economy, night economy... At the same time, focusing on supporting businesses to remove difficulties and obstacles arising in site clearance, land allocation, land lease and legal procedures, creating favorable conditions for investors to implement projects on trade and services. Thereby contributing to promoting the process of turning Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city.
