On the morning of May 17, the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center coordinated with the People's Committee of Thach Thanh district to organize a training course on choreography, practice and support props and costumes for the Thach Lam commune art troupe to serve community tourism at Thac May tourist area.
The training course contributes to preserving the traditional cultural values of the Muong ethnic group in Thach Lam commune and promoting the development of community tourism at Thac May tourist area.
The training course had 50 trainees who were artisans, grassroots art nuclei, and members of the art troupe of Thach Lam commune. Within the framework of the training course, trainees were instructed on choreography methods and how to build a model folk art program to serve tourists and programs to celebrate local holidays and anniversaries.
In the practical part, students are taught and guided on how to perform folk songs, folk dances, Muong ethnic music, new songs with folk melodies praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland and country; guided on directing and building a model folk art program for the folk art team lasting from 30 to 35 minutes to serve tourists, community cultural activities and programs to celebrate local holidays and anniversaries; methods of organizing a performance to exchange arts and interact with people and tourists from all over.
On this occasion, the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center supported traditional Muong ethnic costumes (thom shirt, brocade skirt, belly tie, head scarf: male costume); props (brocade dance scarf with tassels and silver coins, silk fan, bamboo senh with colored glitter) for the art troupe of Thach Lam commune.
Through the training program, the Thach Lam commune art troupe will improve its operational efficiency, contribute to preserving traditional culture and promoting the development of community tourism in the locality.
