Training on preparation for the Women's Congress at all levels in the People's Public Security for the 2025-2030 term

On September 18, in Cam Ly ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong), a training conference was held to prepare for the organization of the Women's Congress at all levels in the People's Public Security (Public Security) for the 2025-2030 term.

The conference was attended by comrades: Major General Ngo Hoai Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security , Head of the Women's Committee of the Public Security; Major General Nguyen Thuy Quynh, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee; Colonel Tran Van Muoi, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police; Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Vice President of the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union.

Major General Ngo Hoai Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security, Head of the Women's Committee of the Public Security Forces, gave a directive speech.

In his opening speech, Major General Ngo Hoai Thu emphasized the importance of the conference in implementing Directive No. 05 dated September 5, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee on leading the organization of Women's Congresses at all levels in the People's Public Security Forces.

This is an important political event, marking a change in the organizational model and activities of the Women's Union, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.

Delegates are leaders of the Women's Committee of the People's Public Security, the Inspection Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, and the Women's Union of Lam Dong province attending the Conference.

The conference acknowledged the outstanding contributions of female cadres and members in management, solidarity building, protecting women’s legitimate rights and participating in emulation movements. Since then, women of the People’s Public Security Forces have not only affirmed their pioneering role but also become an important bridge between Party committees, leaders and forces at the grassroots level.

At this Conference, delegates were informed of Decision No. 5252 dated January 22, 2025 of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union regulating the organization and operation of Women's Unions at all levels in the People's Public Security.

This new model inherits the advantages and overcomes the limitations of the old model, creating favorable conditions for police women to better perform their advisory role on gender equality, women's advancement, family work, children and other key tasks.

The conference also focused on discussing the contents and procedures for organizing Women's Congresses at all levels, from appointing the Executive Committee and delegations to attend higher-level congresses to resolving difficulties and problems in the implementation process at the grassroots level.

With a serious and responsible spirit, delegates actively contributed ideas and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of the association's work and the women's movement in the new term.

The leaders of the Women's Union of the People's Public Security also requested units and localities to carefully and timely organize the activities to prepare for the congress, ensuring democracy, solidarity and efficiency. In particular, the attention and close direction from the leaders of the Public Security at all levels and the Women's Union of the province and city.
