Thai Nguyen plans to complete over 800 social housing units in 2025.

Thai Nguyen province has been assigned the target of completing 1,084 social housing units by 2025, contributing to the target of 1 million social housing units nationwide by 2030. To date, the province has identified 4 locations approved to implement social housing projects.

Social housing project in Dai Thang residential area, set target to complete 395 apartments by 2025.

Accordingly, there are 4 social housing projects (NOXH) being implemented in the province. Specifically, the NOXH project in Dai Thang Residential Area (in Pho Yen and Van Xuan wards) has an area of ​​8,432m2, started in 2024, and has signed apartment purchase contracts with 378 customers. The project is being completed and will be put into use at the end of the third quarter of 2025, with an expected completion of 395 apartments.

With the worker housing project, social housing in Tich Luong ward, area of ​​11.3 hectares, expected 689 apartments, construction started in June 2022. The investor set a target of completing 148 apartments in 2025. For the Green House Social Housing Project, Tich Luong ward, total investment of 620 billion VND; area of ​​11,256m2, including 476 apartments, the investor is preparing to start construction in July 2025.

As for the Bach Quang Ward Social Housing Project, with an area of ​​5.67 hectares, with 469 apartments, construction is expected to start in August 2025, and about 260 low-rise social housing units will be completed by the end of 2025.

In addition to the above 4 projects, the province is implementing a number of social housing projects according to Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development. Currently, 2 investors have submitted documents requesting approval of investment policies, including the Social Housing Project in Viet Han Urban Area, Pho Yen Ward and the Diem Thuy Social Housing Project, Diem Thuy Commune.
