Thai Nguyen strives to have 13 operating enterprises per thousand people.

That is the goal set by Thai Nguyen in the action plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development.

The Department of Industry and Trade supports and hands over 14 sets of online business solutions to enterprises and cooperatives in the province.

From 2021 to present, the province has newly established 3,862 enterprises (registered capital of 31,896 billion VND), bringing the total number of enterprises in the area to 10,980 (registered capital of 154,000 billion VND).

To continue developing the private economy , Thai Nguyen sets a target of having 20,000 or more businesses operating in the province by 2030, 13 businesses operating/1,000 people. Strive for an average growth rate of the private economy by 2030 of 10.5%; contributing 50-55% of GRDP, about 18-20% of total state budget revenue (excluding land use fees). Strive to create jobs for about 74-75% of the total number of workers in the province; labor productivity increases by an average of about 8.5-9.5%/year or more.

Regarding solutions, the province clearly identifies the private economy as the most important driving force of the economy. To support the development of the private economy, in the coming time, Thai Nguyen province will continue to promote administrative reform, improve the quality of institutions and policies, ensure and protect ownership rights, property rights, freedom of business, and equal competition rights of the private economy. At the same time, create favorable conditions for the private economy to access resources of land, capital, and high-quality human resources. Strengthen the connection between private enterprises with domestic enterprises and FDI enterprises. Provide substantial and effective support for small and medium-sized enterprises, business households, etc.
