Tornado blew off the roofs of 4 houses in Vinh Chau commune

On the evening of August 27 and 28, in Hamlet 1/5, Vinh Chau Commune, heavy rain and thunderstorms occurred, blowing off the roofs of 4 houses, causing estimated damage of more than 100 million VND. Immediately after the incident, the local government directed the police and military forces to be present at the scene to assist people in cleaning up and repairing their houses.

Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Dinh Thi Phuong Khanh visited and encouraged the family whose house had its roof blown off by a storm.

At the places visited, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Dinh Thi Phuong Khanh and the working delegation kindly visited and shared with the families who suffered losses.

She requested the Irrigation Department to urgently coordinate with local authorities to complete support documents, helping people to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Faced with complicated weather conditions, people need to proactively take preventive measures to minimize damage caused by storms and tornadoes, especially by bracing houses and trimming trees around the house to prevent them from falling; at the same time, pay attention to ensuring the safety of children, avoiding unfortunate incidents that may occur./.
