September is here, the month when many Vietnamese families prepare National Day meals to offer to the family altar and then reunite with their families. For Ms. Vu Thu Huong ( Hanoi ) , the new month is also an opportunity to join in the national spirit when she chose to prepare a "Patriotic" meal with bright red and yellow colors, symbols of the Fatherland.
Ms. Huong shared: "I want the first meal of the month to not only be a reunion, but also a reminder of national pride, especially in the year of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2."
Ms. Huong carefully prepares each dish of the savory offering tray, both preserving the traditional flavor and carrying profound symbolism:

6. "Gen Z patriotic" salad - a modern combination, representing youthful vitality.
7. Traditional Canh Bong Tha – an elegant dish, associated with a long-standing culinary culture.

4. Vegetable and rib soup – a sweet and refreshing bowl of soup, blending the orange, yellow, and green colors of autumn vegetables.
