"Lighting up the border - Following in the footsteps of our fathers and brothers"

On August 2, the Chieng On Border Guard Station Youth Union (Son La Provincial Border Guard Command) coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Executive Committee of Yen Son Commune, Son La Province and the Voice of Vietnam Youth Union in the Northwest region, along with kind-hearted people, to organize the program "Lighting up the border area - Following in the footsteps of our fathers and brothers" in Yen Son Commune, Son La Province.

The program aims to show gratitude to policy families with revolutionary contributions; practically make achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 / September 2, 2025), towards Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress.

Chieng On Border Guard Station and accompanying units installed lighting poles for policy families in the area.

At the program, the units organized the construction of 25 lighting poles using solar energy systems to give to 24 policy households and installed at the Monument of Heroes and Martyrs of Yen Son commune, with a total value of nearly 35 million VND from socialized funding and contributions from the program organizing units.

The program has contributed to joining hands with local Party committees, authorities and people in border communes to build new rural areas, contributing to economic , cultural and social development, maintaining security and order; strengthening solidarity and cohesion between program organizers, sponsors with Party committees, authorities and people in border areas.
